What bar managers ask before switching

Does PourIQ work with Toast, Square, or Clover?
Yes to all three, plus Lightspeed Restaurant. POS integration pulls your sales data automatically so variance reports compare theoretical usage (what the POS says you should have sold) against actual usage (what you counted). That is how you catch over-pouring and theft.
Can it track BTG wine pours separately from bottles?
Yes. When you open a bottle of BTG wine, PourIQ tracks every pour in ounces, calculates cost per glass, and flags when the bottle is almost empty so you can 86 it before a guest orders the last glass.
How does tenthing work in the app?
Visual tenthing. You see a bottle outline on screen and tap where the liquor line sits in tenths. No scale, no math, no guessing. Takes about 2 seconds per bottle once you get the rhythm.
Will it tell me which bartender is over-pouring?
Variance reports show which shifts had the worst pour cost variance. Cross-reference with your POS shift data and the pattern becomes obvious. PourIQ shows you the variance. The conversation with the bartender is still yours to have.
Can I cost out a new cocktail before I put it on the menu?
Yes. Recipe costing lets you build a drink from your current inventory, see the exact pour cost, set a menu price, and calculate margin before you print the menu. Menu engineering then classifies every drink as a star, puzzle, plow horse, or dog so you know what to push and what to cut.
